In conjunction with the Malaysian 60th Merdeka 2017 (National Day) celebration this year, the government will be launching a ‘Negaraku‘ (My Country) initiative to instill a sense of love and patriotism for the country.
Prime Minister said; “The Negaraku initiative was aimed at igniting the spirit of patriotism in the people, set aside any differences and to stand united in achieving the goal to develop Malaysia into a more prosperous and successful country. Various programs and events will be held in collaboration with the ministries and government agencies to ensure the success of this initiative that will involve people from all walks of life,” he said.
He added that, the Communications and Multimedia Minister will be in charge of the programs. Therefore, a website dedicated to the programs and the objectives have been launched at www.negaraku.com
