Jabatan Pelabuhan Dan Dermaga Sabah, (Sabah Ports and Harbours Department) is a State Government agency under the Ministry of Infrastructure Development. It was established in the early 60’s as a division under the Marine Department, a Federal Government Agency. In early 1993, it has been separated from the administration of the Marine Department. This department is responsible for administering and enforcing the matters within the jurisdiction of the State Government in Port and Harbours Act, 2002.
