Program Pembangunan Bola Sepak Negara or National Football Development Programme – NFDP, is a Malaysian’s youth development programme that caters the age group of 7 to 17 years old which was pioneered by the Ministry of Youth & Sports Malaysia (KBS) with the collaboration of Ministry of Education (MOE), National Sports Council (NSC) & Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). NFDP was officially launched on 10th April 2014 and announced as a national agenda by the Prime Minister of Malaysia to carry its goal of producing a world-class generation of footballers.

With its mission in creating a systematic and comprehensive football development ecosystem, the implementation of NFDP is based on five strategic thrusts with focus on establishing a national football philosophy (DNA), encouraging more participation of potential young players, providing standard-compliant facilities improving the standard of coaching and strengthening the structure of competitions at all levels.
