Previously known as Akademi Seni Kebangsaan – ASK, was set up in 1994 under Kem. Penerangan Komunikasi & Kebudayaan (KPKK), Min. of Info. Comm. & Cultural, and currently known as Akademi Seni Budaya & Warisan Kebangsaan – ASWARA, (National Art Culture and Heritage Academy) starting on 1st August 2006. ASWARA is a form of higher learning institution which provides learning, research and academic publishing as well as professional consultant service in art culture and heritage which aim to produce a skilled artist and integrity author in their area beside to strengthening the national art heritage.
