This is the new logo of Putrajaya International Centre – PICC since we published the first version of the logo here. The Putrajaya International Convention Centre – PICC is the main convention centre in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Located on the top of Taman Puncak Selatan in Precinct 5, Putrajaya, PICC was opened in 2003 as Putrajaya Convention Centre – PCC. The first conference held was the 10th Islamic Summit organised by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation – OIC in October 2003. In October 2004, the Putrajaya Convention Centre was officially renamed to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre or PICC, and it was being the precinct landmark.
The size of PICC is 135,000 sq. meter spread over 9 levels, it is also easily accessible with 30 minutes drive away from Kuala Lumpur & Kuala Lumpur International Airport – KLIA. PICC is also known to Muslim friendly facilities with Halal Certified Kitchen and large prayer hall (Surau). Besides that PICC also support Green activities with it 2 Atriums in the building – large open air space with ‘natural jungle environment’, Good Food Waste Management, Recycle Day activities, etc.
