Transformasi Nasional 2050 – TN50 (National Transformation 2050), is an initiative to plan for the future of Malaysia in the period 2020 to 2050. From the vision of becoming a developed nation, Malaysian should strive to be amongst the top countries in the world in economic development, citizen well being and innovation. This objective needs to be fleshed out and given meaning by Malaysian citizens themselves.
Beginning with the era of the New Economic Policy (Dasar Ekonomi Baru) 1971-1990, Malaysia was stepped into the Vision 2020 era, (Wawasan 2020) 1991-2020. Now, they have to be ready to face the next 30 years, the TN50.
