Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia (MAPIM)



Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia (MAPIM), Academic Publication Council of Malaysia, is a body which has been actively involved in the development of scholarly and scientific publications. Its members consist of all public institutions of higher producer (IPTA), a research center in Malaysia and Oxford University Press (DBP). This Committee was established on July 11, 1996 as a result of the Technical Committee Meeting DBP-learning (5 / 96) held at the Sarawak branch of DBP. Officially, MAPIM has approved the establishment of MAPIM Steering Committee Meeting on May 22, 1997. Appointment of MAPIM’s members made by the Director General, Department of Higher Education, Malaysia as the Chairman of Malaysian Scholarly Publication Council. MAPIM Steering Committee that also, and the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. At this point MAPIM consist of 27 members of Oxford University Press, publisher of universities, research institutes and government agencies.
