    Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Nicole Ryan and I am Programme Leader for Performance Arts at Limkokwing University. I would like to take this opportunity to firstly introduce our university to you, present our new and exciting programme in Performance Arts and lastly inform you of a new government initiative set up to help fund students through their programs here at Limkokwing.

Limkokwing University is an international University with a global presence across 3 continents. With over 30,000 students coming from more than 150 countries, studying in its 12 campuses in Botswana, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malaysia, Swaziland and United Kingdom. The University has established worldwide recognition through its innovative brand of creative education merging the best of east and west education.

We have just introduced our unique Professional Diploma in Performance Arts designed to help students gain exposure to every aspect of the industry from sound, lighting, camera skills, singing, dancing and acting, as well as learning how to market their talent and build production companies. After 2 years, those keen to pursue degree studies will be provided with a pathway to enter Australian and British universities where they can specialize.

The government has recently embarked on a new initiative offering Malaysian student’s 100% MDEC scholarship for all of our Limkokwing Professional Diploma courses (including our Professional Diploma in Performance Arts). There is also an additional offer of financial assistance for equipment required; the only requirements stipulated are that the student is of Malaysian decent, between the ages of 18-25 and a holder of one SPM credit.

Your society is well known for being a trusted and established Performance Arts institution, nurturing and promoting Performance Arts within Malaysia, to people of all ages. I would like to acknowledge and commend these efforts with the extension of our interest in offering the aforementioned scholarship to all of your qualifying students. We believe that every student should be given the opportunity to pursue their dream career; irrelevant of their financial circumstances and that together with these government initiatives we can raise the profile of Performance Arts in Malaysia.

Please feel free to visit our website http://www.limkokwing.net/malaysia/ for information on our Professional Diploma in Performance Arts. Should you or any of your students be interested in our course and this scholarship programme or have any questions regarding the above information, please feel free to give me a call or send me an email on the details below.
