Grand Saga was entrusted by the Government to design, build, upgrade, manage and maintain the 11.5 km highway. The company started collecting toll with effect from 15th January 1999 at the two toll plazas along the highway; one at Batu 9, Hulu Langat and the other at Batu 11, Cheras.
