Camel Trophy is a groups of peoples' activities in remote locations, to help each other to overcome difficult situations, that would be seen by many as virtually impossible to overcome. The Camel Trophy is a vehicle oriented competition usually 4x4s, to overcome the impossible, that was held between 1980 and 2000, and it was best known for its use of Land Rover vehicles over challenging terrain.
The debut of the Camel Trophy was very different from what it became in subsequent years. It all started in 1980 with an adventurous 6 Germans in Brazil. Camel cigarettes brand sponsored the first edition of the Camel Trophy.
