Lotus F1 Team is a new team of 2012 Formula 1 season using their own name following their previous team’s name, Renault F1 Team. Still using the same machine’s brand – Renault, Lotus F1 Team is owned by venture capital group – Genii Capital who bought large stake of Renault F1 Team and Group Lotus as the branding partner. As a legend in the Formula 1 Grand Prix since 1960, Lotus name was used by the team, (after they took over the name from Lotus Racing team, currently Caterham F1), but  ‘Power by Renault’.
