Majlis Perbandaran Kajang



Kajang and its surrounding area is a county located in the Hulu Langat District in Selangor. It is located about 14 miles southeast of Kuala Lumpur. From Kuala Lumpur, Kajang accessible by road and rail. Kajang also be linked to Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and the State Administration Centre of Urban Multimedia. On the west lies Puchong, Batu 3 and Klang. Kajang basically consisted of some placement of Malay, Chinese and Indians.

The average village inhabited by the Malay people. The Chinese people live in scattered around Kajang town. While the rubber plantation areas inhabited by people of Indian descent. If viewed from the angle of the topography, the Mukim Kajang is located on high ground, about 76.250 cm above sea level. Most of the surface of the landscape is full of hills and mountains. Land flat in areas such as Sungai Langat river basin, River Heights, Sungai Semenyih and Sungai Chua. These areas are places the beginning of the first cleared for placement in the Mukim of Kajang.
