Hospital Serdang terletak di Mukim Dengkil, Daerah Sepang, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Lokasinya bersempadanan dengan South Kajang Valley Expressway (SKVE) di sebelah timur dan Fakulti Perubatan UPM di sebelah barat. Pembinaan hospital ini adalah untuk memberi perkhidmatan perubatan kepada lebih kurang 570,000 penduduk di kawasan Serdang, Putrajaya, Kajang dan Bangi.

Hospital Serdang merupakan hospital kerajaan yang beroperasi berkonsepkan persekitaran teknologi maklumat iaitu‘Sistem Maklumat Hospital Bersepadu’ (THIS). Disamping itu, ia adalah sebuah hospital rujukan yang mempunyai 620 katil yang dilengkapi dengan pelbagai kemudahan yang terkini serta ia mengandungi ‘Specialist Secondary Unit dan Tertiary Levels of Care’. Hospital ini selain daripada memberi khidmat perubatan dan rawatan mengikut keperluan semasa untuk pesakit dalaman dan luaran, ia juga merupakan ‘teaching hospital’ bagi pelajar perubatan Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Cegah Kanser Servik Melalui Pelalian HPV – Prevent Cervical Cancer with HPV Immunisation. The Cervical Cancer that occurs in the woman’s womb (cervix).

Third most frequently detected cancer in women after breast cancer and colorectal cancers. Estimated 1,500 women in this country confirmed have cervical cancer each year. Cervical cancer accounted for 6% of the total cancer deaths among women.

HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) is the major cause of cervical cancer. Every woman is at risk of HPV infections after marriage. Therefore the Ministry of Health is running a campaign to protect the risk of this cancer to 13 years old school girls with HPV vaccination.

What is the HPV vaccination? HPV vaccination is an immunisation given to prevent cervical cancer due to HPV infection.

At present the Ministry of Health, Malaysia only provides free immunisation to all 13 years old girls. The free vaccination will be given in their schools, if your girls do not go to school, get it in government’s health clinics.

Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah, named after the Sultanah Nur Zahirah (the Sultan of Terengganu’s wife), previously Raja Permaisuri Agung. It is a hospital in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. The name was changed from Hospital Kuala Terengganu to Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah Kuala Terengganu (HSNZKT) on 2nd December 2006 and was launched by the Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin.
