SKIM MESRA USIA EMAS

One of the 7 agendas of Merakyatkan Ekonomi Negeri Selangor (Phase 1). This Agenda is the initiative of the Selangor States early ruled by the Pakatan Rakyat started from Mac 2008. This scheme was launched in August 2008 and officially started on 1st October 2008.

This Skim Mesra Usia Emas (SMUE) is a death benefit scheme as appreciations to the old citizens, regardless of gender, race, religious, political idealogy, economic status and their social life. It’s a gratuitous gift by the Selangor State’s government to the old citizens and disable persons who are eligible.
