Kor Perkhidmatan Diraja (Royal Service Corps) originated with the establishment of the Supply and Transport Branch in April 1957 as a division in the Army Service Corps (ASC). ASC has been renamed the Armed Forces Maintainance Corps (AFMC) is consistent with his duty to give logistical support to all Services of the Armed Forces. On 9 April 1965 AFMC has been dissolved and the Supply and Transport Task Force was established. The team was then known as Royal Service Corps and their motto is “Berkhidmat Kepada Semua” (Service to All).
